One of the best things about fooMG hosting is that you don’t need to worry about the technology, but for the curious among you, here is what fooMG uses to bring you the fastest, most reliable and worry-free hosting possible.
We use SliceHost virtual private servers for hosting, Amazon S3 for cloud storage when we need it, and Amazon CloudFront for scalable content delivery.
For our web server, we use nginx, one of the fastest web servers available—the same server used by sites like Wordpress.com and Hulu.
We use the industry-standard MySQL for fast relational data storage, the time-tested Nagios software for monitoring, and the flexible Gentoo Linux for our operating system.
Perhaps most importantly, we limit the number of clients we accept to be sure we can provide the kind of service we promise.
